A side-by-side 3D animation for AstroKobi, comparing Hubble and the upcoming Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope.
I wanted to show the difference between these two observatories from an engineering and visual point of view. They have the same mirror size, but their optical systems and overall approach are very different.
The animation focuses on the details of the telescopes, their instruments and the way Roman’s wide field of view and coronagraph will allow it to observe the universe in a very different way.
I kept the look clean and technical, with cinematic lighting to bring the hardware to life.
