Nasa Heavy Construction Mech - CLAMP

NASA CLAMP is a super-heavy autonomous construction platform designed for offworld colonies. Weighing around 6,000 metric tonnes, it stands roughly 40 meters tall and features a 120-meter crane boom for heavy lifting, structural assembly, and infrastructure maintenance. Its six legged chassis allows it to operate across rough terrain while handling habitat modules, power systems, industrial equipment, and other large scale cargo.

The platform can operate fully autonomously on long duration construction and maintenance missions, or be directly piloted by onboard specialists when precise human control is required. It is also equipped with side mounted auxiliary manipulators for handling tools, positioning components, securing loads, and performing precision assembly or maintenance tasks
